Wireless Radiator Valve Control | HH-SAVER Wireless Radiator Control Saver Pack
HH-SAVER Wireless Radiator Control Saver Pack

DOCUMENTATION
Datasheet (1175kB)

The SyxthSense House Heat Radiator Control Pack is a good starter set, containing everything you need to set up an advanced radiator control system and start reducing your energy consumption, slashing your heating bills and cutting your carbon emissions. The Radiator Saver Pack contains everything you need to allow you to control one radiator in one room or zone of your home or property.

Features:
  • Maximises heating comfort and efficiency - minimises energy consumption and heating bills
  • Reduces greenhouse-gas emissions and helps protect the environment
  • High-quality German-engineered product
  • Thermostat is physically separated from the radiators, and therefore measures actual room temperature - not the temperature at the radiator like conventional thermostatic radiator valves!
  • Fully wireless - no mains power or cables
  • Simple installation - no draining of radiators required
  • Controls up to eight radiators per room or zone
  • Easy to use thanks to clear menu guidance and convenient, jog-dial operation
  • Modern design with large, easy-to-read display
  • Fully customisable daily/weekly programme
  • Clean mounting - thermostat may be quickly and easily detached from wall holder via snap-in lock
  • High level of reliability owing to use of highly secure 868MHz wireless frequency band
  • Weekly maintenance function prevents calcification and sticking of radiator valves
  • Frost-protection function
  • Keylock to prevent unintentional adjustment
  • Further increase in efficiency possible through purchase of optional wireless door/window sensors - triggers automatic reduction of the heating output in the room when opening a window or a door.  Up to four wireless door/window sensors may be integrated
  • Holiday/party function for temporary temperature changes
  • Automatic summer/winter time adjustment
  • Temperature can be displayed in Celcius or Fahrenheit

System Benefits:
The SyxthSense House Heat Wireless Radiator Control system offers many advantages when compared with conventional radiator-based heating systems using central thermostats or thermostatic radiator valves.

In contrast to conventional thermostatic radiator valves, because the Wireless Room Thermostat is not physically connected to the radiator and may be placed wherever desired in the room, temperature-measurement errors arising from the thermostat being too close to the radiator are avoided, and temperature control is more precise. Furthermore, the temperature is sensed in the desired location in the room itself, not next to a radiator.

A fully customisable daily and weekly programme enables the temperature to be precisely regulated in each room in which a Wireless Room Thermostat is located, delivering accurate control of individual room temperatures according to your personal needs and requirements. Separate day- and night-programmes for each day of the week are definable. There is also an override function to allow you to temporarily change the temperature if required - for example, if you go away on holiday.

The most important advantage of the House Heat system when compared with conventional systems available on the UK market is the ability of the system to automatically reduce the temperature at night or when a room is not being used, on a customisable, room-by-room basis, to deliver significant savings in energy usage, cut fuel bills and reduce the emission of environmentally unfriendly greenhouse gases. No conventional heating-control system can do this

How to Expand the System
The SyxthSense House Heat Radiator Control Pack can easily be expanded by adding further Wireless Radiator Valve Motors to control additional radiators in the same room or zone. Up to eight Wireless Radiator Valve Motors (and therefore up to eight radiators) may be controlled by one Wireless Room Thermostat.

Adding further Wireless Room Thermostats allows radiators in additional rooms or zones to be controlled. (Multiple Wireless Room Thermostats may be used independently in different rooms/zones of a house or building without interfering with each other.)

Both the Wireless Radiator Valve Motors and the Wireless Room Thermostats may be purchased separately to expand your system as required and tailor the system to your individual requirements.

The more rooms or zones in your home that are controlled by the HouseHeat system, the greater the reduction in your energy consumption, heating bill and carbon emissions.

Simple. Fast Installation
Communication between the Wireless Room Thermostat and the Wireless Radiator Valve Motor is achieved by means of radio signals and therefore no cables or wires are required to connect the two units together.

In order to allow a radiator to be controlled by the Wireless Room Thermostat, the existing conventional or thermostatic radiator valve head is simply replaced with the Wireless Radiator Valve Motor. It is not necessary to remove the valve itself and not necessary to drain the water or bleed the air from the radiator to install the HouseHeat system. Replacing the old radiator valve head is extremely easy and can be carried out by someone with no special skills or tools in just a few minutes. Installation is thus very simple and straightforward.

Will the FHT8V Valve Motor Fit my Thermostatic Radiator Valves?
The FHT8V Wireless Valve Motor fits almost all thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) commonly available on the UK market. The Wireless Valve Motor may be mounted directly without need of any adaptor on thermostatic radiator valves of the following brands with valve body/valve head connecting thread M30 x 1.5 mm:

BOSS, Braukmann, Comap, Heimeier, Honeywell, Junkers, Landis & Gyr "Duodyr", Mertik Maxitrol, MNG, Oventrop, Pegler, R.B.M., Schlösser, Simplex, Valf Sanayli, Watts, Wickes, Wingenroth (Wiroflex)

and also on any other radiator valve with valve body/valve head connecting thread M30 x 1.5 mm.

For other brands and types of thermostatic radiator valve, an adaptor is required to mount the FHT8V Valve Motor on to the valve body.

To check if FHT9V motor will fit your radiator valves and if so, which adaptor is required for your valves, please view the following list:

FHT8V Valve Motor Compatibility List

If your thermostatic valve is not listed, please call or email us for assistance. If your TRV does require an adaptor, the adaptor you require is shown in the list. Valve adaptors may be purchased together with the Valve Motor or individually.
